St. John's Reviews

Elaine’s comments: Our guests love this room. Bright, contemporary, excellent working space...and romantic space!

Why the name? The Bakeapple is that most delicious of Newfoundland and Labrador berries. Difficult to harvest, expensive to buy – it is a treat to eat. We serve it in season – home-made, in jams.

The Bakeapple was formerly a large family bedroom. We included a bathroom by pulling a closet further out into the room. Then we added an over-sized soaker tub in the bedroom area, and some sexy, contemporary furniture. Then we basically left the room much as the Parker family had enjoyed it. The end result is a very spacious, well-lit, quiet, comfortable and luxurious, just minutes walk from downtown St. John’s. It, too, is boutique in style. Loads of storage in this suite.
