| Weddings
Close to downtwn St. John's, but far
enough away to devote much of its acreage to parking and gardens,
Leaside offers a variety of wedding related services, ranging
from wedding showers, rehearsal cocktails, marriage services,
cocktail receptions, and so on. Please call the front desk
to discuss your requirements, we will work with you to ensure
the best possible rate for your function!
Although
we recognize that it is somewhat limiting to our clients,
and that is not ever our intent, we ask that you use our recommended
catering services - Ava Hawkins at 579-0680. Ava is a very
experienced caterer, adding to her repetoire of very happy
clients - members of the British Royal Family. Smaller functions
may be catered by Leaside's kitchen - inquire at the time
of booking.

Because
Leaside is very careful to keep an appropriate balance
between our neighbour’s needs and the Manor’s
functions, we
offer the following as guidelines to
booking receptions which extend into the evening. |
| When
all Manor rooms are booked, functions in the Kilmacolm
Conference Room are asked to limit the time in the garden
to 11 p.m. so as not to disturb Leaside's neighbours.
Otherwise, functions must end by 8:30 to 9 p.m. with all
non-staying guests departing the facility as soon as possible
after this. We do regret any inconvenience that this may
cause. |

Damages
to property
In the event of damage to the
facility during a function, the
client will be responsible for making repairs and/or
substitutions. |

Honeymoon
Suites
Leaside has the prettiest suites
in the city! All of our suites include complimentary breakfast
in room. |
| Breakfast
is served at 9:30 or before. Check-in is at 3 pm, check-out
is at noon. Earlier check-ins may be possible, please
inquire at time of booking. |

| Photo
Sessions |
|
Clients may book sessions for
wedding photos. Each
booking is for a minimum of two hours. Please
call the front desk for rate information.
Clients who wish to have photos taken in their rooms
should also discuss this requirement with the front
desk. |

Regarding booking specific rooms, suites and apartments
|
|
|
From time to time, and very, very
occasionally, Leaside will require flexibility in its
accommodation allocation, and must reserve the right
to substitute:
A suite will always be substituted with a suite, a room
with a room, etc. We add that this has very rarely been
a problem for us. So book the suite of your choice -
with confidence. |

| Regarding
block bookings in high season |
|
For families who are considering
booking Leaside for weddings, reunions, etc.,
please
be advised that
in all
circumstances, where several rooms are being booked,
|

| Leaside
will require a credit card to book; we cannot hold rooms.
Once you have the facility reserved, we will ask for the
credit card number, names, other contact details for each
individual room. Changes in booking duration then becomes
the responsibility of each individual client. Leaside
is perfect for just such gatherings. Many a happy hour
has been spent in our lobby by too-long-absent families! |
| Individual
bookings will require the standard $50 per night deposit
to a maximum of $250. Don't forget to book the conference
room should you need to "guarantee" its availability.
